Endgame was not easy, wow.

OKAY, FINISHED IT. The ending was Not Very Easy actually, even though my characters were all EPICALLY STRONG. Most of my difficulty came from those closing doors; I managed to keep most of my characters from getting trapped, but despite my efforts, I still lost two of my fighters. Boo.

Overall though, this was an absolutely, utterly fantastic game. I had so much fun playing it, and it was challenging too! (I was only playing on Normal mode, I'm sorry to say. HARD MODE, NEXT TIME.) Besides a brief attempt at FE8 before my cartridge corrupted and died SEVERAL TIMES (or something like that, I kept losing my save files for some reason), I've never played Fire Emblem before. I really, really, really love it though. It's just so much fun and lived up to all my expectations (of which I had quite a lot of them). And just, "eeee, Marth!"

The storyline was really cute/sweet/etc. Kind of simplistic, but really well told and didn't make me "ERM" the entire way through like a lot of game story lines do. My game play time is a LOT longer than 24:04, but most of it wasn't recorded since it went something like this: play almost all the way through the chapter and fight in the arena; character I'm training DIES in the arena; RESET. Actually, that brings up my only beef with this game. Forfeiting in the arena is a retarded system. Half the time I'm yelling at the DS, "I PRESSED B ALREADY YOU F@(#ER, WHY DID YOU STILL ATTACK?" I'll try to forfeit and the game will object and have the other guy attack me again, or twice, before letting me quit out. I ended up having to button smash B to get the arena to successfully forfeit which is kind of INCREDIBLY ANNOYING.

In any case, I would definitely recommend this game. It's tons of fun, and I'm definitely gonna replay it again in the future. A++ man~
